Employment of youth living in rural area? Now it’s not a barrier

Training makes a person skilled and inspired to move ahead. The YES Center Cox’s Bazar is one of the institutions, where many young people from Ramu in Cox’s Bazar received training for their future lives. Different courses of this Center help hundreds of young people to become self- reliant. The YES Center managed by YPSA provided a lot of opportunities to its students.

I am Hamid Hussein Azad. I live in Kala Khondoker Para village, which is located at South Mithacory in RamuUpazilla. The YES Center is a well-known place, located at Panerchora village, Mithathory union, RamuUpazilla in Cox’s Bazar district. I was also one of the students of this Center and I participated in three training, which were hotel management, life skills development and blog writing.

There are 6 types of management training courses at the YES Center. These courses are ICT (computer), office management and secretarial course, hotel management, tourist guide course, English language course and basic accountancy and book – keeping course. After completing these courses many students got a job in different organizations. The YES Center is fulfilling the expectations of all us and of our parents. The initiative of the YES Center is not only to eradicate poverty, but also to develop a valuable human being. The YES Center also encourages us to continue higher education and to do something for our family and for society. And much more:a strong tie of friendship is also created between all the participants of the YES Center.

Besides management training courses the YES Center run by YPSA provided life skill training to its students. The components of this training are very important for sustainability of an individual. This training elaborately discussed the various techniques related toself development, self confidence, interpersonal relationship, problem solving capacity and sustainability of an individual life.

At last I would like to request all young people to take lesson at the YES Center. It will help you to build up a meaningful career. The initiatives of the YES Center are also helpful to discover all the proper tracks in lifeto make us successful and to become respectful citizens.
